EarthTones is an experimental portrait series that began as a study of color and portraiture slowly revealed itself as an exploration of identity as something fluid, fragmented, and deeply human. Created on medium format Land Film peel-apart film using layered multiple exposures, color backdrops, and lighting designed to honor every skin tone. Through analog imperfections and overlapping selves, the work captures the shifting space between presence, memory, and perception. These portraits that feel less like documentation and more like emotional landscapes.
